2008-2011 - Jacob and Valeria Langeloth Foundation – to fund the Geriatric Nursing Assistant Career Development Program, which is a career ladder education and recruitment program for certified nursing assistant (CNAs) working in nursing homes. Total award amount $475,000.
2007-2010 - NYSDOH-Health Workforce Retraining Initiative, combined with funding from (HRSA) –Nurse Education, Practice and Retention Program grant funds the Long Term Care Leadership Institute. this program will provide leadership training to approximately 600 nurse leaders (first line managers, nurse educators, directors of nursing) and 60 nursing home administrators across New York Total award amount - $597,000.
