Morris Tenenbaum Elected Chair of Foundation for Quality Care

Morris Tenenbaum, CEO of Kings Harbor Multicare Center in Bronx, NY was recently elected Chair of the Foundation for Quality Care’s Board of Trustees. Mr. Tenenbaum has served on the Foundation’s Board of Trustees since 2007 and is a valued long time NYSHFA member.  In addition to his work for the Foundation, Mr. Tenenbaum has served on various NYSHFA committees, including Legislative, Payment for Services, Strategic Planning and Workforce Development.

Mr. Tenenbaum, a licensed nursing home administrator, received his Masters degree in Theology in the year 1968 in Israel. Since that time he has been a cornerstone in the nursing home industry.  In June 1994 Mr. Tenenbaum became the owner/operator of Kings Harbor Multicare Center, a 720 bed skilled nursing facility and the fourth largest nursing home in New York State. He is also the owner of Horizon Care Center and Lawrence Nursing Center, both in New York City. Mr. Tenenbaum is also Vice President of the Southern New York Association and Alliance, a Certified Fellow of the American College of Health Care Administrators and a member of the Local 1199 New Directions and Innovation Committee.

The Foundation for Quality Care’s Board of Trustees also elected the following officers:
