The Foundation for Quality Care engages in research and collects, analyzes and maintains data on some of its current and past projects/programs that may be of interest and import to the field of long-term health care. When appropriate, data and the results will be published and posted for review and circulation. For example, the Foundation is collecting and analyzing participant data that was collected during the Nurse Leadership Institute. This data will provide information on employment retention, promotion and turnover of nurse leadership positions from a group of several skilled nursing facilities across New York State. As another example, FQC is also engaged in a project with the New York State Energy Research and Development Agency that will report on the state of physical plants and energy consumption at skilled nursing facilities in the State of New York. The results of the study will offer recommendations for improving energy efficiency and conservation at skilled nursing facilities.
As the studies, reports and results of these and other projects become available, they will be posted here in portable document format (PDF) files. Some materials may only be noted in the form of a project or program abstract and may require that the publication be purchased from the Foundation.
